5 Spring Dates That Will Keep You Fit.

With a new season, comes new possibilities! Flowers are blooming and so are our "summer bods."  Which is why now is the perfect time to take your dates outdoors! These activities will keep you in shape while you make memories at the same time!

1. Swap your Uber for 2-Wheels

As you probably know, Uber is all the rage right now. However, another up and coming travel hack is hospital bikes! Cities both big and small are hopping on the fitness bandwagon with rentable bikes scattered around the city. With a simple mobile app, you can grab any bike in the city and return in at your chosen destination. Brunch date on Sunday? Grab two bikes and ride to the restaurant, taking the scenic route! For half the price of an uber, you can spend the day riding around the city and exploring together!

2. Picnic in the park

It's safe to assume that there is a metro-park or hiking trail in your area. Now that all the snow has melted, it's the perfect opportunity to get outdoors and get some steps in! Plan out a long trail at your local park and snap pictures along the way. You can pack a meal and bring it along for the end of your hike. Dinner with a view anyone?

3. Lace up your shoes

Spring-time is the most popular time for 5Ks, marathons, fun runs, color runs, etc. Not everyone is a runner, I know that (from personal experience) BUT running with your boyfriend or girlfriend is such a fun bonding experience. It's nice to see your significant other encourage and motivate you to finish or even walk by your side for 3 miles if need be. You can search races near you by location and date here to plan your next date!

4. Couples class

Yoga and spinning studios are partnering with local restaurants and bars to get couple/ singles out for a workout! Keep an eye out  for flyers in your area (ie: Balance and Brews) for your next weekend date. Another amazing workout for your next date is a salsa dancing class! It might seem scary to put yourself out there but you will get major props for your dancing & date planning skills!

5. Shopping Date

Instead of making restervations at your favorite unhealthy restaurant, talk a walk through your local farmers market. You can write up your own menu for a romantic dinner & dessert then tackle the market to get all the items together! Amaxing meal and exploring your citiy with someoe you're crushing on, what more could you ask for?
